LocoRoco - It’s a PSP game developed by Tsutomu Kouno. Along the game, te LocoRoco can grow in size by eating special berries, and then can be split and rejoined to pass the LocoRoco thorugh narrow spaces. The game’s bright and colorfule visuals and dynamic music soundtrack were hallmarks of the game, earning it several awards for the gaming press in 2006. (Reference from wikipedia)

I’m not really fond of games but this multi-colored jelly character is super cute and it caught my attention. The background music and the sound effects would make you want to hug LocoRoco because of its cuteness. It’s just so cute that I can’t get enough of it! Too bad I don’t have my own PSP I’d probably buy one for the sake of playing LocoRoco “)

One Dark and Gloomy Day During The Typhoon “Pedring”

Recorded on Tuesday September 27,20100 11 AM.

Typhoon “Pedring” hit northeastern Luzon early on Tuesday morning. The typhoon is expected to exit Luzon by Tuesday afternoon.

Many of the cities here are experiencing power interruption due to the heavy wind. I’m glad that we haven’t lost our power yet in our area but just in case of power interruption I got my laptop, phone, my battery fan/lamp all fully charged and we got some candles ready.

The wind seems to be blowing stronger and stronger. Shrieking roofs keeps popping every now and then (hopefully it isn’t ours). I hope that this isn’t as much as a disaster like the worst typhoon “Ondoy” that hit the country and caused a lot of dread last September 2009.

How To Make A Perfect Champorado?

What is Champorado?

It is a sweet chocolate rice porridge in Flipino cusine. It is made by boiling sticky rice and cocoa powder giving it a distinctly brown color. It can be served hot or cold and with milk and sugar to taste. It is served usually at breakfast.

I’m not a big fan of instant Champorado. I still want the home made Champorado. One lazy Sunday afternoon, my cousin and I decided to cook a home made Champorado.

It’s very easy!

I’m sorry about the video quality. I shouldn’t have used my camera phone.

Ingredients:

1 cup of glutinous rice

8 teaspoons of cocoa. Dilute it in to a 1 cup of warm water

12 teaspoons of sugar

2 1/2 cups of water

Evaporated Milk or Powdered Milk

Try it and enjoy!
